Last week we released Tx Explain, an open-source AI Agent for EVM transactions. The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive from users and developers, who are using the web application as an extension to blockchain explorers.

In case you missed it, here are links to catch you up:

Today's release notes:

Transaction Simulation

The functionality was previously limited to understanding what happened to already-mined transactions. This is useful to help understand the past, but what about the future?

Tx Explain now supports unsigned transactions, so the agent is able to produce human-readable summaries of transactions before they are signed and sent.

We see the biggest potential use case for account security. Using the new feature, you can double-check the summary against your expectations for the outcome of interacting with a smart contract. The Agent provides a full non-technical explanation, so it is natural for humans and even other language models to comprehend.

New EVM Network Support

The following EVM networks are now supported:

  • Base
  • Blast
  • Mantle

Support for Contract Creation

Transactions that created a smart contract are now supported and produce human-readable summaries.

Here's an example using the Tether (USDT) contract:

Mobile UI and Bug Fixes

Mobile users may notice some general UI improvements with today's update. We also fixed a bug related to a missing field in the transaction object.
